The Village Voice comes through with its annual, affordable tasting event. Tickets for Choice Eats go on sale tomorrow, for a mere $35. The March 31 event has moved to the 69th Armory from the Puck Building and promises to be even bigger than last year. Look for bites from restaurants as varied as Motorino, Pinche Taqueria, Momofuku Milk Bar, and Fette Sau. Look for more participating restaurants to be announced as Robert Sietsema goes trolling in the outer-outer boroughs for thrilling ethnic food you’ve never seen. The Voice is partnering with Slow Food NYC; a portion of ticket sales will go to the new educational program called Harvest Time, which works with students to create edible gardens and food stands in East Harlem and Williamsburg.
