Page Six Magazine Gets Its Paws on Rocco DiSpirito

Riding the coattails of a recent sympathetic Times profile, the latest issue of Page Six Magazine features a softball Q&A; with Rocco DiSpirito, though we’re sensing a bit of sarcasm in this latest article. DiSpirito told the Times that he had been bullied as a kid in Jamaica, Queens. But Rocco, who now lives in Murray Hill, tells Page Six that his old neighborhood was “ghetto with a capital G.” DiSpirito’s attempts to be funny in his responses don’t help the tone of the piece. The closest he gets to having a famous person’s number in his cell phone is Scarlett Johansson’s colorist. And when asked who, from the past or present, he would invite to a house party, DiSpirito says he would want Rachael Ray to cook. Really? This has to be some plea for a new Ray-backed show. Props to DiSpirito for supporting hybrid cars, but we don’t know of vehicles that run on olive oil.
