In their openings roundup this week, Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld previewed Fishtail by David Burke, which opens today in the old Jovia space on 62nd Street. Burke is aiming for a sustainable-seafood restaurant. So far, his menu "ranges from Kindai (farmed) tuna sashimi to seared wild salmon with lentils. Even the swordfish in the swordfish ‘steak-frites’ is caught the right way, by harpoon, says Burke." Click through to see another interior shot as well as the menu.
