We weren't all that excited when Jauntsetter visited the Terminal 5 food court ahead of today’s opening and enthused about the customer service and touch-screen ordering system, but their latest post we can get behind: Behold the massive cocktail menu. Holy mother — sangrita shots at the airport?? Dangerous. A rep for the terminal tells us there will be over 200 wines by the glass and 75 beers, and also sends us Batali/Ladner protégé Mario Carbone’s menu for Aeronuova, which reads like an encyclopedia of Italian food. As for the décor, Serious Eats has some shots, and Bloomberg has an overview of the $743 million project that strangely doesn’t make mention of the grub.
