Tribeca has lost a top delivery option. The phone at Province just keeps ringing, and a drop-by confirmed our fears. The Chinese sandwich-maker is closed just when cooler temperatures have us craving warm steamed mantou bread; fillings of moist pork shoulder, Thai chile mackerel, and mixed mushrooms; and house-made shrimp and pork wonton soup. A sign posted out front says the owners are looking for a new space. We miss tiny sandwiches in our hands, so we hope they move fast to secure another location.
