It looks like Herb Wilson has done well for himself since taking over as executive chef of the Soho and Tribeca Grand hotels last winter — according to Life and Style magazine, he was seen smooching his new love interest, Star Jones, at the U.S. Open yesterday. Strange that a man who makes his living filling stomachs would date someone whose tummy has been reduced to the size of an egg, but let’s remember where Wilson plies his trade — he’s accustomed to feeding preternaturally skinny types. This may just work out.
