Newly installed chef Franklin Becker explains: “The patient was lying on a gurney when I got there. I tried to resuscitate her but she was too far gone. It never had a chance … It was too much to overcome … We lost four mil. I couldn’t in good conscience tell the owners to go another month.” [Eater]
