Curbed reveals that the Ludlow Hotel will have a restaurant and rooftop lounge when it opens at 180-184 Ludlow Street in early 2009. Hotelier Serge Hoyda’s Website describes the endeavor as a “nineteen story, independently-run boutique hotel, featuring 170 guest rooms including several large suites, a signature restaurant, a basement spa, a fitness center, a business center, a sun deck and an exclusive rooftop lounge.” Will that signature restaurant have the chops to go against the Susur Lee venture opening in the neighboring Thompson LES next month? More details as they emerge.
