Color Us Happy

Korean food is surprisingly easy to come by in Boston, and we’ve declared our love for Cambridge hotspot Koreana before. But on the other side of the river lies an equally delicious cafe, tucked along Harvard Ave and teeming with happy hipsters who love their bi bim bap.

Briefly closed due to a neighbor’s fire this summer, Color is back with a vengeance. Kimchi, ramyun, bulgogi, and other Korean classics fill the menu as the bright colors from the decor overwhelm your eyes. The staff has never disappointed with their helpful kindness. Color is also a great spot for folks who need a few modifications. A few of us have allergies and veggie needs, and never once has the staff batted an eye at our dietary necessities. Hilariously pseudo-authentic music rounds out the experience, though if you have a group, call ahead just in case. The place isn’t often packed too tightly, but you never know when the hungry BU students will descend.

Save room - there are complimentary lollipops for dessert!
