Manuel Trevino to Take Over at A Voce As Interim Chef

Manuel “Memo” Trevino, the former Dos Caminos executive chef and Top Chef contestant will be the interim chef at A Voce, says a source close to the restaurant. We're awaiting comment from A Voce's ownership, though to date the restaurant has not even confirmed Carmellini's departure. Trevino will oversee the expansion of A Voce to the Time Warner Center, our source says, but he is expected to make way for another big-name chef to be named (eventually) by A Voce's owners.
