Chain restaurants have until Monday to start posting calorie information, but don’t expect to see all the signs go up at once. AM New York reports that the New York Restaurant Association has appealed the law and that the city won’t fine offenders until June, though it will issue citations. Even the first signs to go up have elicited a predictable response: “Wait, the chips and guacamole are 710 calories?” the paper quotes one Chipotle customer asking rhetorically.
