City Retains Right to Call You Fat

New Yorkers are one step closer to knowing how disgusting they are since a federal judge approved the city’s efforts to mandate calorie counts on menus, according to the AP. The New York State Restaurant Association had appealed the law, claiming it violated First Amendment laws by forcing restaurants to be mouthpieces for the city’s health-propaganda machine. The restaurants will appeal again, so you can still suspend disbelief at lunchtime.
