Capri Native Uses Mom's Recipes at New Tribeca Cafe

Capri native Graziano Lembo worked the front of the house at Il Nido and San Pietro before deciding to return to his roots as a chef. Hes opened Capri Caf, a small four-table takeout joint in Tribeca serving antipasto, salads, and pasta. Lembo is using his mothers recipes for dishes such as tagliatelle with walnuts, anchovy, and Pecorino cheese; and penne la Caprese with tomatoes, oregano, basil, and house-made mozzarella. If these dont sound like dishes worth traveling for (even with the slice-of-home dcor), worry not theres delivery anywhere below Canal Street.
